I’ve searched high and low for apps that can automate most of the process of producing short form video.
And I’ve found several where you can upload a long video clip, say 30+ minutes, and the app automatically chops the file into dozens of short video clips that you can customize.
The problem is that none of these apps totally nail it, in my experience.
The clips they choose are hit and miss. And the customization options are pretty good but limited.
Instead, I’ve turned to Descript, the main app we use for podcast editing.
Descript is cool because it enables you to edit audio and video by editing an automatically generated transcript.
